First BanCapital Fund (FBC) is a private equity fund focused on the investment and growth of de novo banks, post de novo banks and community banks. FBC is a Bank Holding Company, allowing for larger investments and control positions in its investments. FBC's investment strategy is focused upon the following:

	Identify and incubate investments in de novo banks in certain regions throughout the United States.
	Invest in existing post de novo banks or community banks that are in need of capital and poised for growth.
	Invest in community banks with a capable management team and well thoughtout growth plan.

In selecting each investment, FBC focuses on the following characteristics:

	Locating markets with solid population growth as well as good economic growth.
	Building critical mass with a solid footprint.
	Investing into the bank's growth, while effectively maintaining costs.
	Partnering with local business and community leaders to create a strong board of directors, management team, and investors.
	Development of a growth strategy to include:
	A strong credit culture. The gathering of lower cost deposits. Use of technology to improve client service and lower costs. The addition of ancillary businesses to increase overall profitability and client loyalty via strategic partnering.

In each of our investments, FBC intends to be actively involved with each portfolio client in order to maximize the bank's overall shareholder value. The Principals and Advisory Board of FBC consist of an experienced team of professionals that includes former bank presidents, founders, directors, chairmen, and investors with over one hundred years of combined banking experience. The team members have successfully started eight de novo banks, of which four were sold and the other four are currently in operation. In addition, several members have been involved in the purchase of a troubled bank, which was successfully turned around and subsequently sold.

It is the belief of FBC that the combined experience levels, coupled with a disciplined approach to improve and grow the value of each portfolio client, will result in superior investor return.
